This, right off the bat will be a bit different than last time because I will not be including an ending question... Calm yourselves, The questions will resume on a later post. I feel like going off topic for today, I shall. One moment... I can't think with my sister annoying me... She had to have me include her in my post... :D That one is for her... So back to what I was saying before I was SO RUDELY INTERRUPTED... The school year has been coming to a close with summer right around the corner. I am in need of a break from school just purely due to the amount of work I have had to do. Summer will be that well needed break that I have been looking for. The three clubs that I have been to at school are coming to a close within the next couple of weeks... which is sad. Oh... I forgot to mention that on the way home from school, my penny board snapped in half while I was ridding it. I fell and cut up my elbow and knee pretty bad and they are still hurting currently. They hinder the movement of my left arm and left leg. I have to wrap up this blog so this will probably be it for today... So have a great week and I will see you guys next week!
It has been quite a long time since I posted last, and I have a good reason, trust me. Two weeks ago, when I should have posted, I got sick and it took me a while to catch up on work and then last week we took a break on blogging and I forget about the blog that I had not done yet... Basically it has been three weeks since I posted last... Sorry. I have had a lot going on lately. The biggest priority of mine was my history class' project that was due and I just finished that. On the bright side, my birthday is coming up. So that's a positive. Now, back to the important parts of this blog. The book I have been reading "The Last Days of Jesus" by Bill O'Reilly has been amazing. (By the way, I believe I messed up on the name of the book in my last post and I am sorry for that.) I am a little behind on my reading, check that, a lot behind on my reading and I really need to catch up. I will do my best to finish the book on time. I last read about Jesus when he went to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover, and he saw the people whom were running stands for business, and he starting flipping over their tables (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻). This is the first time I had ever heard of Jesus acting in anger, which makes me respect him that much more. Before reading this, I had always seen Jesus as a perfect, sinless, person, which made him not able to be related to, in my opinion. Man I'm am losing my train of thought. My mind is wandering so badly right now. Jesus being sinless made his outburst that much more meaningful. He was known not to get angry, with the slight exception. He stayed calm, and yet in this example, he lost his cool. Which is understandable considering the shop-keepers were haggling and abusing the fact that the people visiting Jerusalem needed an animal for sacrifice. As a final point I would like to propose a question, for the many viewers that I currently have... (sighs). In a situation where the people of an entire city were being forced into wasting their money, even though they were poor, on things that could be sold for much cheaper, would you act out like Jesus did and take a stand for the people of the city? I would like to say that I would but I don't know if I would have the guts...
Thank you for reading and have a great week! Helloooo everybody. It is Saturday, and (just as a reference) this blog post is due tonight at 10:00 p.m. (or at least that's what I remember) and it is currently 9:27 p.m. Sooo yah. I had an issue a few moments ago where I miss-clicked and deleted my whole first paragraph of this post, so this is the second time I have typed this paragraph. So, back to what I was gonna say before I was so rudely interrupted... by... my...self... (um...) Yah so tomorrow is Mother's Day and I am so excited to celebrate it with my mom. My take is taking her (as well as my sister and myself) to a restaurant that we all love for lunch. The place is called Back Home in Lahaina, (and yes, I did have to look up how to spell that for all who were wondering). See pic. below. This blog is going to be very "rant-ey" I can feel it. Sorry in advance. My past two blogs have been, for the most part, very directed toward the book, so I thought it would be fun to have a break with a little more of a "personal" post... So, first, real, topic. I have been continuing my read of the book "The Life of Jesus" by Bill O'Reilly, and it is great, I would highly recommend it. I am farther behind in it then I would like to be... so that is an issue. But... I assure you that I will catch up and then maintain my pace at which I read. I would like to propose a question to (hopefully) be answered in the comments below. What are you, the reader, doing for Mother's Day, if it isn't too personal? I have to cut this blog short because I am running low on time... so as a final closer (hah... redundancy) I would like to suggest a song that I personally like and that song is "Love Again" by Pentatonix. Here is a link to their Youtube video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F80FsZDTgn0... just copy/paste that into a search bar and, Bingo. I will do another song next post, so Bye for now and have a great week!
Today shall be quite interesting. Last post was lacking in substance. So... this post will include a bit more. To begin, I have been reading the book "The Last Days of Jesus" by Bill O'Reilly, and so far it is a great book. I am a born again christen and I really love to let people know that. This book have me a good opportunity to really look at the life of Jesus from a factual and very thorough standpoint. I will propose a question at the end, in order to encourage discussion in the comments. So far in the book. Jesus is only 12 years old and, as his parents left Jerusalem, Jesus was so curious about the Jewish faith that he stayed in the temple and didn't stay with his parents, not out of disobedience but out of pure curiosity for his faith. Jesus was lost in knowledge. He stayed in the temple for three days before his parents, Mary and Joseph, returned, in panic, to try to find him. I know that I have had a less extreme but similar experience. When I was very young, like maybe 7 years old, I left my dad's side in Downtown Disney. I panicked even though my dad was on the other side of a kiosk. If I were in Jesus' position, I would be freaked out because of the fact that my parents weren't around me or by my side. I would like to conclude with a question... Let's say that you (the reader) were ever to come across a little child that was lost in a store, with no parent/guardian to be found. To what extent would you devote yourself to help this child that you just met for the first time? (please answer in the comments below). That's it for today. Thanks for reading my blog. Bye Bye! Have a great day! See you next time!
